Yay it officially the countdown to christmas I'm already writing this a week and a half in advance but I definetely feel in the christmas mood. So for today post I am going to tell you my tips for wearing glitter. This time of year we do gravitate towards the sparkly things because if you can't wear glitter at christmas well when can you wear it!!    

I feel that prep is so important when wearing glitter as you want it to stay on your on eyes and not fall on your face. I would suggest using the urban decay primer's as even through they are pretty pricey they are some of the best. However l'oreal do a cheaper option which is my opinion isn't as good but it do the job. 


Also applying a shadow base is also a good idea as then the glitter has more of to grab on to. You can either high-end or lower-end with these product's as brands like Chanel luminous long wear eye shadow's do brilliant colours or if you are on a budget the maybelline colour tattoo are a brilliant alternative I know I talk about these a lot however they do deserve all the credit they get. 



For eyeshadow this time of year I tend to turn to my Urban Decay naked 2 palette as it has a brilliant mix of matte and shimmer's so you can really create that smoky dramatic for that christmas party!!


















And my last tip is to apply you eyeshadow before your foundation and concealer as this means that you can sweep any fall out away before applying your base so that it doesn't get stuck.

Top 3 concealer's

Top 3 concealer's I think concealer is something that people get confused about, what shade to pick and where to put it. This is because there two types of concealer's one that is meant to be use for spot and blemishes, which most people know about and then there is also highlighting concealer's which are used to add light to your face but still concealer's light blemishes and small blemishes within those area's.  The most famous highlighting conceal is the YSL Touche Eclat which is even through is good it's pretty pricey at £25.00. So I was in boots a while ago and saw that Barry M have tried to do a high street alternative. This is the flawless light reflector concealer, the only thing I would say about this is that it claims to be total in perfection cover. top 5 nude lips

Top 5 nude/ neutral lips  My first one is probably the most expensive of my five and it's the Clarins instant lip perfector. This product is kind of light a natural gloss which a slight colour. The scent of this product is just amazing it smells like vanilla and I just love it!! Like I said before it's the most expensive one at £18.00. My next one is from maybelline and if you saw my post earlier in the week then you may have already seen this but this is probably the most bold colour of the five but still very wearable. This is the maybelline colour sensational in petal pink. I really like this colour because it's not quite matte but it so nearly is. My third one is from rimmel and it's called nude pink. Shade name wise I think that this is quite disappointing as a nude pink I think of being a your lips but better, however this lipstick has quite a orangery undertone.
