Rimmel Foundations

Image
I've love Rimmel foundations ever since I first properly got into make-up. I've used the match perfection foundation for years and this is perfect for me in the winter month's (because I really am that pale)  I have only recently picked up the lasting finish foundation and I'm really like it. If you don't like full coverage foundations then you're not going to like this. I sometimes find that full coverage foundations to be very heavy and uncomfortable on my skin. However this foundation blends really nicely into my skin and just almost photo shops my skin. I have this in the shade ivory which normally is to dark for my skin but this is perfect.  The match perfection foundation has a little less coverage so it's good if you want something day to day that also last's. I have used this foundation for years and it never let's me down. I've got the light porcelain which is perfect for winter.  The difference between the two fou

Removing make-up

Image
I've found over a couple of months that I've been removing my make-up in a number of ways (depending on how lazy I'm feeling) So my first is Liz Earle cleanse and polish which is something I use if I want to probably cleanse my face. I really like this and I have spoke about this many times so I won't go on and on but I will generally use this if I want to make my face super clean. My next one is Bioderma, I've done a comparison between this and the simple miccellar water recently so if you want to know more about this product go check it out. I really like to product so super quick removing of make-up but still being effective. My last one is probably the most lazy way which is make-up wipes. There is so much speculation about using make-up wipes and how they are not good for your skin. I think that you shouldn't use them everyday however every once in a while on those lazy evening that make-up wipes are the answer.

Look fantastic box march 2016

Image
After having glossy box for a 3 month subscription I decided to branch out to other subscription boxes to test them out. Look fantastic seemed very appealing as it has a lot of the brands that I absolutely love and it definitely didn't disappoint. Within in the box there are 5 products and 2 of them are full size. There ism't any prices for full sizes of the samples however within the magazine that is in the box there is a good explanation on each product.   The product I saw was the lottie london blending brush. I have tried the blush brush and really like it so I'm excited to give it a go.  Caudalie micellar cleansing water. The brand is well done for for their beauty Elixir which is a toning spray. I will probably take this away with me to give a proper test.  The next product is from First Aid Beauty. Which is brand I have heard so much about but never actually tried anything from. This is there ultra repair cream, which is formulated to hydrate dry

give it a glow

As we are hopefully seeing the first days of spring very soon I thought I would do a post about my favourite product's to give my skin that glow.  Clarins instant lip perfector: these are really good at just giving your lips that plump/ glossy look.  freedom pro highlight in ambient- this I have spoke about quite a lot and this just gives my skin a nice sheen without looking like a disco ball.   Revolution ultra blush palette in golden sugar. This has a nice mix of bronzer's and blushes to give my skin that heathy radiant look.  L'oreal lumi magique highlighting concealer is really good at brightening up the eyes making you look more awake (than you actually might be) Max factor creme puff blushes- these I love for adding a bit of colour and glow at the same time. They are also so easy to blend.  Soap and glory peach party is a really nice blush if you have a bit of a tan as it just adds that "holiday glow".

A little bit of me time....

Every so often I definitely need to take time to unwind and just take a step back from everyday life. These are product's I like to use to treat myself. So my first thing to run a bath and for that a select a product from the following collection..  I also like to properly wash my hair, even through this is pretty obvious about once a week I will repeat my shampoo twice so that my hair is so super nourished  After doing this I will apply a hair mask for about 10 minute and the one I'm using at the moment is from NAOBAY which I got in a glossy box.  I also like to have use a scrub to remove any dead skin cells. The one I'm using at the moment is from zoella which I love. Before applying a face mask I like to properly cleanse my skin so that are the dirt and make-up from the day are gone. So I use the liz Earle cleanse and polish to do this I also put this on twice to make sure that my face is super clean.  I tend to mix it up w

new look/ H&M make-up look

I have been wanting to do this post for ages and just kept putting it off. I really like both the lines of make-up but what I found that the new look make-up didn't really have any blushes so that's why I decided to mix the two so I could do a full face. Starting with base I used the pure colour liquid foundation in the shade porcelain which is a good match for me. I really like this foundation as it feels quite light but still has a good amount of coverage so it's perfect for everyday but also can be built up. I didn't have a concealer or powder as I haven't picked them up yet but they are meant to be really good.  For blusher I used the H&M blush in the shade pale pink which is a very natural. The thing that I like also is that it's not to pigmented so you don't end up looking like a clown (which is never a good look).  Moving onto eyes I do have eyeshadow from the new look range but decided to use one of the colour essence from

Different Applications for product's

Image
I've found that I been using different brushes for different product's so that they have the best result's. So starting off with base if I'm using quite a heavy foundation or really want to buff my foundation then I will use the sigma 3d HD kabuki brush which I picked up a few month's a go and having been loving. I just find that because it's quite dense and has some to dimension to the actual brush, that it's makes you foundation look so flawless but at the same time quite natural. If I'm using something that has a lighter coverage then I will use the real techniques expert face brush I used to use this for everything but since getting the sigma brush I found that this works better for lighter coverage foundations.  I won't use this everyday or even every week but if I'm going to an event and want my foundation to look flawless then I will use a complexion sponge. I can't tell you where this is from but I received
