L'oreal Infalliable Sculpt collection

Image
L'oreal launched a new collection in march which is called the Infalliable sculpt collection. This collection is pretty big and I only have 3 product's from the range. So this collection has gone back to basics and really getting your base right. So they have a foundation that is suppose to grip to your contour however I'm not actually sure how this differs between a normal foundation as I use the contour with this foundation and another foundation and didn't really notice a difference. I have this in the shade 01 light.  The collection also has a couple of contouring duo's which come with a cream contour and highlight which are both quite matte. Now I understand a matte contour colour but for a almost matte highlight just doesn't work for me as I like to have that sheen. I have use this a couple of times and thing I like about this product is that both of the shades are so easy to blend, because I've got quite pale skin even at this time of year

My top 5 favourite palettes

Image
I know I've done this in the past however when I was looking through my collection the other day I noticed that my favourites has actually changed as I do have quite a few new palettes in my collection.  Starting of with the newest palette to my collection and this is the Too Faced chocolate bon bons palette. This I've done a full review of with swatches very recently so go check that out if you want to know more. However I've been reaching for this so much as the shadows are so wearable and easy to blend. Also just as a little extra treat that shadows smell of chocolate!  My next one I use a lot if I'm travelling and this the Fleur De Force quad in Lunar Rose. These shades I never thought that I would go for as they I quite colourful but I just find myself reaching for this so much as it's so compact. I especially love the top right shade which I normally put in the centre of my eyelid to add a bit of a sparkle.  My next one is my other Too Faced

Balance me Cleanse and Smooth face balm

Image
Most of you will know if you read my blog that I have gone on a multiple of times about the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish hot cloth cleanser. However I actually finished a bottle and decided that I wanted to try something new. So whilst I was shopping in Waitrose I saw that they had a whole stand of Balance Me.  I've heard about this cleanser from a number of people and that it was similar to quite pricey cleanser's. This cleanser is completely different to Liz Earle. It a balmy texture and does have a bit of grit to it. However don't be put off by this as it doesn't feel like it's a scrub and really rough. The texture actually helps to get of your stubborn mascara. I tried this out last night as I had quite a lot of make-up on and it worked amazingly. I sometimes find that some cleanser's don't remove my mascara even if it's not waterproof. However this I just massaged into my eyes and wiped it away with a muslin cloth like I do with the Liz Ear

May favourites

End of another month means only one thing, it's favourites time! This month I've got quite a few product's so I'm going to run through my favourites things in my beauty collection this month. So starting with skincare I've got two things that I've loved this month. Starting off with a day moisturiser now I'm am ashamed to say that in the past I haven't moisturise everyday in the morning. However since picking the Neutrogena visibly clear pink grapefruit oil free moisturiser I have found that I'm just reaching for everyday. I think this is because it just sinks into the skin so quickly and easily that it doesn't give you that shiny look. I actually have normally only about 10 minutes in the morning because I get up at a insane time in the morning for work so every minute that I can spend in bed and not getting ready is a win win in my book.  Another skincare product that I've been loving is the Vaseline spray and go moisturis

SKINCARE SAVIOURS

Image
I talk about a lot of skincare, however I've found the over the past couple of months I've been reverting back to these product's to make me skin happy! Clean & Clear dual action moisturiser- I first heard miss budget beauty talk about this (I'll leave her link below) when I first got into beauty about 3 years but never thought to try it as I've got quite sensitive skin and she said it gives you that tingle. However the way she applies it is as a spot cream and it work's amazingly. I apply a big blob of it directly on a spot and it just helps to reduce redness and the size of the spot. I would recommend using this as a over face moisturiser (even through that's what it's meant for) because it can be quite drying. However this is only £3.25 so it's very affordable. Vaseline Spray& Go body moisturiser- I have already done a full review of this very recently so I won't write about it to much. However I just love this in a hurry a

10 things I'm using right now

Image
I've realised that I've done this in a while so I decided to go through 10 product's that are in my make-up and I'm really enjoying. A lot of these product's I've written about before so I'll try not to make this too long!! Going from left to right- Clarins instant lip perfector in the shade 07 this came out earlier this year and I absolutely love it.  Fleur de force eyeshadow quad in Lunar rose- This is the more purple tone one and I get so much wear out it and it's so compact which is useful.  Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner in the shade east end snob- I'm not really a lip liner girl but this is such a neutral shade and I get more use out of it than I thought I would.  Rimmel color tattoo creamy matte's in creamy beige- This is such a useful product to have because it's so quick and easy to apply. Also because it's matte it looks so natural on the eye and you don't have to worry about fall out.  Max factor

Empties!!

Image
Over the past couple of month's my empties bag has filled up to the point where I need to do a blog post, so that's what I'm going to do. So starting of with haircare because I am going to do this in categories. I've got two sets of shampoo and conditioner, the first one is the Lee Stafford CoCO Loco this I used a while a go. However I really really loved this it's smells amazing and makes me hair feel so soft. The other set is one I only used yesterday which made me realise that I needed to this post is the Toni&Guy Cleanse and Nourish, I've used this before and wanted to go back to them as I love what they do for my hair.   Moving onto bath stuff I have 3 bubble bath's and one bath scrub. I have the boots botanics Sensuous bath creme which feels very moisturising, I've also used the Sanctuary spa Foaming creamy bath soak which I've used before and really love it. The last bubble bath is another product from the Sanctuary Spa an

Affordable eye primer

Image
Earlier this year Collection which is a high street brand/ drugstore brand here in the U.K launched a set of primer's. This included a eye-primer which I thought was really exciting as there are not enough affordable eye-primer's on the market. Also hopefully with summer just around the corner it seems the perfect to launched this kind of product. After trying this product for a couple of days I'd have to say that it definitely does help my eyeshadow to stay on a little bit longer than without. I also find that it's a good alternative to the Nars pro-prime or the Urban Decay primer potion and it's the fraction of the cost at £4.99. If you do suffer with eyeshadow slipping of your lids then I won't definitely recommend trying out an eye-primer because it works in the same way that a face primer does.

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette

Image
A couple of months ago I purchased the chocolate bar palette from Too Faced and fell in love with it. Since then I've had my eye on this palette but wasn't sure if I didn't needed both. After looking at swatches online I decided that I needed both and I don't regret my decision at all. The pigmentation is outstanding and the shadows blend together so easily. The palette contains 16 shades with two all over lid colours. There is a good range of matte's, shimmer's and sheen's. Also what I love about this palette is  that even though it's mainly neutral colours that are pop's of colours so that you can have a little bit of fun with your eye make-up. From left to right Almond Truffle, Satin Sheets, Sprinkles, Molasses Chip, Malted, Cashew Chew, Cotton Candy, Cafe Au Lait, Bordeaux, Mocha, Blackcurrant  Dark Truffle, Pecan Praline, Totally Fetch, Earl Grey, Divinity This palette retails for £39.00 and you can

Revlon Ultra HD matte lipcolor

Image
In march Revlon launch a new lip product. These are the Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor, these were actually released in united states in I think February however they were only released in the UK a month later. They come in 7 colour's and I have the shade Devotion which is quite a deep bold pink. Normally I don't wear a lot of matte lip sticks and I sometimes find them to be really drying and uncomfortable.  However I find these really comfortable to wear but I find that after a while my lips felt really gritty so that is a bit of a down side.  Also when I first swatched it I found that it did go on a little bit patchy so you do have to layer it to get a good opaque result.

Me, Myself and I

Image
Over the past couple of month's my mind and body has gone through a lot. It's dealt with a multiple number of seizures and recovering from them which has taken time. In that time I've learnt so much, I've learnt that you never know what is around the corner and cherish every moment you have. I've also learnt it's ok to have to be different and be unique. I've also learnt that sometimes you need to stop and just relax for a day or two. The world we live in is so fast pace that sometimes you need a break. I've dealt with epilepsy nearly my whole life and within that time I've never experience being as ill as I've been this year. Also it doesn't help that people that I don't really know and don't understand epilepsy "try" to give me advice like "why don't you get an early night?". It's not as simple as just sleeping because even if you slept for 12 hours a day you may have a seizure. But you know what thro

Pretty in pink

Image
This time of year is the time that I love wearing pink on my lips. So here are my favourites; NYX Butter gloss in Eclair Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in Latino Collection Field day collection in 1 Pink Rose  Maybelline Color drama pencil in 130 Love my Pink  Maybelline Colour Sensationals creamy matte lipstick in 940 Rose Rush  I love wearing pink throughout the whole year but find the spring and summer is just the perfect time to bring out the pink's. Leave in the comment's what lipstick's are your go to's for this time of year.

Vaseline spray &go perfect for summer

Image
I don't know about you but when it's really hot and I don't always like using a big thick butter body because I find them really sticky and end making me hotter. Generally I will only use them if I have little bit of time to indulgence. That's why on a day to day basis I really like to use the Vaseline Spray & go. This product does exactly what it says, it comes out in a very fine spray that you can either spray directly on your body or into your hand and then spread it that way. The only down sound to this product is that if you do spray it directly on yourself they it may get a little messy and spray everywhere. I found this out the time I used it as it went all over my mirror!!

Origins drink up intensive mask

Image
I've actually had this product for a while now but haven't got round to trying it. I have heard so many people talk about this masks. Now because I have normal/dry skin this product is perfect for me. The consistency is fairly thick and feel quite cooling on the skin so I think this will be good for summer.  The scent of the product is quite strong but not so much that it makes you eyes water. I have tried cheaper dupes of this product's before and I will do a comparison between the two.  This product retails for £23 which is fairly expensive but I think it's worth it.

NYX baked eyeshadow

Image
If you saw my online boots haul the other week then you'll know that I pick up a couple of eyeshadow from NYX.  This is the shade Shira and I also got a more purpley tone shade. However this shade I'm absolutely loving and it's unlike a lot of the neutral eyeshadows I have because it does have a orange tone to it. This I think will be perfect for summer and will look gorgeous will a tan. I've never actually tried any of the NYX eye product's before and I am really impressed with them that are really pigmented and there is little fall out. These are £5.99 each and there are so many colour ranging from fairly neutral like this one to very bright out there colours. If you are in the UK you can pick NYX up from some boots stores and online. I think in the US the products are easier to get hold off so if you know whether you live in the states or go over there a lot let everyone know in the comments.

What I've bought recently

Image
As I don't do youtube videos I thought that I would do a round up of the thing's that I've bought recently. I will be reviewing these products individually or have done already but I thought what has caught my eye recently. Also if you're wondering all of these product's I did purchase myself and they weren't sent to me.  So going from left to right Sanctuary foaming bath soak, body shop cotton pads, soap and glory calm one calm all, body shop concealer, revlon mascara's dramatic definition and volume and length, Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip colour in the shade devotion, Smashbox photo finish primer, Soap and glory gloss stick in nudist, Bourjois CC cream in 31. Let me know if you tried any of these product's and will be doing separate reviews once I have tried them.

Full Review of Revlon Mascara's

Image
A couple of month's a go reviewed a few of the new Revlon Mascara's. As I now have the whole set I thought that I would do a update on the one's that I had and a first impressions on the ones that I hadn't tried yet.  The range consists of 5 mascara's and these are the replacement of all there other mascara's. These came out earlier this year and retail for £9.99 each which is fairly reasonable for high street mascara.  So my first one is my favourite of all them and it's the All in one mascara. This has really short bristles and wand which enables you to really get to the root of your lashes and extend them.  The next one is the volume and length magnified mascara this has a larger wand than the previous one so this one I found a little tricky to apply. If you don't like big fat brushes then this one won't be for you.  The next one is the Super Length and it does exactly that. This made my lashes double in l
