Whats in this months make-up bag- august!!! I started this last months and as it got such a HUGE response I thought that I would carry it on for this month. This post also helps me as well because it means that I can see what I am using and switch it up every month to make sure that I am using all my make up.  So to start of with base I have two products that I have been switching between this month. my first is the boujois healthy mix serum if you saw my post about this then you'll know that I love this foundation. I won't go into too much detail as I have that post that I did yesterday. The other base that I am using is the topshop BB cream which I used last month as well. For concealer I am using the maybelline which is really good for blemishes and under- eyes so you can use this if you just need some coverage but don't want to put a foundation on. If you saw last months instalment then you will know that I love the foundation of this and I will sometime use

collection field day colection

collection field day collection This summer collection have released some new products that are called the field day collection. The packaging is very summery and girly, but also quite simple. I have been using a couple of there products and testing them out. I have two lipsticks in the shades pink rose and Fuchsia. fuchsia I really love the lipstick it's very bold and bright but looks so summery and pretty with quite a basic eye and cheek. The eye pencil however is quite disappointing because the colour looks really bold and I was going to use it for quite a bold summery eye. However when you actually wear this it's doesn't really transfer on you eye, but if you wear this over a smoky eye it does look nice.           pink rose

boujois bronzer

Image
BOUJOIS Delice de poudre  If you are frequent readers of my blog then you will know that I have very pale skin. So because of this I have found it so hard to find a bronzer that doesn't make me look like a umpa- lompa. However this bronzer doesn't do that. I have the shade 51 which is the lightest shade. The thing to bear in mind is that this is quite shimmery so it does give you it that sheen. So if you  like quite a matte look then this may not be for you. However if you can get past from that this it's a brilliant bronzer. You can get this from boots and superdrug for £7.99.

Handbag essentials

Whenever changing bags there are a few things that I always like to have on me for everyday use. Tissues- for those emergencies and you never when you might need them. Also antibacterial wipes can come in handy for all sorts of emergencies such as wiping swatches of your hand after trying foundation in store. Anti-bacterial hand gel like tissues this can always come in handy I have had so many times where I am with family or friends.  Concealer and lip balm- I generally don't like to carry lots of make-up in my bag as it's added weight but these two things you can use to take care of any small blemish that May arise when out and about.  Obviously the real essentials key's, phone and money.  Small perfume bottle- I received some miniature size perfume bottles for Christmas which are just the right size for my bag or you could use perfume samples which you can pick up in department stores. Miniature fold up hair brush- this are great for obvious reasons but if you can get one

AUGUST FAVOURITES!!

AUGUST FAVOURITES I am going to start doing monthy favourties to let you know what I love right onw. Most of these thing I have already mention but if you want anymore infomation just leave me a comment below.  So my first thing is a foundation and it's the foundation that I had in my what's in my makeup bag for july. It's the maybelline fit me foundation I really like this for everyday use.  My next one is actually the brush that I use with this foundation and it's the real techniques expert face brush. I love this brush for all different types of base. It's so easy to blend in to your skin and the grip on the brush is amazing and if you're like and you struggle with holding onto some brushes then you will love these because the grip on these are amazing I will be doing a full review of all the real techniques that I have so be sure to check my blog for that.  My favourites lip product this month is the revlon ultra hd lipstick in rose. PALETTE WEEK: Collection little mix love all about the eyes palette

PALETTE WEEK: Collection little mix love all about the eyes eyeshadow palette So this week on my blog I have decided to give you a run down of what my favourite eye and cheek palette's. However I will be doing some other posts if you are not interested in this. The one that I'm kicking this is the collection all about the eyes palette and this is the one that little mix has collaborated with.  The eyeshadow are very pigmented and most of them are shimmery. They feel very buttery and are easy to blend. I love that there is also a black in the palette that you can use as a soft liner.  The other thing that's amazing about this palette is that it's super cheap you can get it at £3.19 which is amazing. I would really recommend this if you want super pigmented eyeshadow at a good price.

PALETTE WEEK Makeup revolution redemption palette

Image
PALETTE WEEK !! Make- up revolution Redemption Essential shimmers When I first started getting into makeup it seems that everybody was going on about how amazing sleek palette's were. However I would have to say that if I was choosing between the two I would certainly picked up this one because the packaging is just so much nicer, the way that you can see every shade. The only thing I would say is that the packing can get a little messy so it may not look as nice after a while. This palette you can do so many looks with, even through they are all shimmers some of them are softer than others. The price of this is £4!! which is incredible. The only down side is that you can only picked this up from online and larger superdrug stores. I would really recommend make up revolution if you don't want to spend £30 odd on a urban decay palette I would go for makeup revolution.

whats in my travel makeup bag!!

Image
what's in my travel makeup bag So the other week I posted what I'm taking on my travel toiletries bag. This week I'm going to show you the makeup I'm taking. It may seem like a lot but I want to make sured that I have everything I need for my week away.  This is the bag I'm taking and I got it from TK maxx, The brand is called ecobeauty. It's quite big and is easy just to throw everything in. Also I'm not sure what brushes I am taking so I will do a post before I go to let you know what I'm taking.  For base I am taking my rimmel wake me up which I love and is perfect for holiday.  I am also taking my maybelline master sculpt which is so handy for travel as it's a 2 in 1 and it's got a mirror. I also really love the highlighter in this.  For powder I am going the take thew maybelline matte maker. I feel that I am using the rimmel stay matte so much so I thought that I would switch it up for once.

battle of the brands/ products rimmel eyeshadow

Image
battle of the brands rimmel eye shadow single new vs old Rimmel has recently release this month a new range of eyeshadows called the Magnif'eyes mono eye shadow. The consists of 8 colours ranging from very neutral to brights experimental colours. The formula of these are very buttery and easy to blend. I only picked up two colours from this range because I feel very nervous buying a whole line of new products as I don't want it to be a wasted investment.  old version   new version  The new eyeshadow's are £3-4 which is about the price the old one were. I actually got the old ones in TK maxx about a year ago for I think it was about £2 for 4 and I got spicy bronze twice.   I would definitely recommend these to anyone who want some single drugstore/high-street that have good quality and at a good price.

my top 3 foundations

Image
My top 3 foundations for normal skin When talking about foundation it's so hard to recommend anything to people because everyone has different and there has different needs. My skin is quite normal I can accasionally get the odd dry patch and blemish but generally my skin is pretty good. My first one is the skin rimmel match perfection in light porcelain. I find it so hard to find the right colour match for my skin because I am very very pale. So the foundation is perfect for me in the winter when my skin look likes a ghost. It does has SPF18 which is good even in winter because your skin still needs to  protected. The coverage is good it's not flawless but it definitely gives you some coverage. The cost of this foundation is £6.99 so it's affordable and a little bit goes a long way.  My foundation is the foundation that I'm using on a daily basis at the moment and if you what to see what else I'm using this month then I will be doing a makeup bag updat
