Blogmas Day 9 The Christmas Tag

Image
I've heard about these type of tag's for years and I've never actually done one of these before so I thought that I would give it a go and let me know what you think. So I've got 10 questions all about my favourite things to do at Christmas. What's your Favourite Christmas Movie? I know this may not be the most obvious choice but Scrooged with Bill Murray is one of my favourite  films ever. I did actually first watched back in November but I really love this film and definitely get's me in the mood for the festive season.  Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? Christmas Morning as I child I used to do a Christmas party with some of my closest friends. Which we actually did to we were nearly adults, playing pass the parcel and watching cheesy Christmas films. However now that I'm 22 and meant to be a grown up I tend to sit down with my family on christmas morning to open presents listening to Christmas mus

Blogmas day 10 10 gifts under £20

Image
Last month I did a post about luxury gift that were over £50. That was really fun to do however not everyone can afford the really luxury gift prices that are on the market. So this is my second gift guide of three that are going to be gift's from £5 to £20 so I feel like this instalment will suit a lot more people's budget. Starting of with my favourite brands for more affordable gift's which is soap and glory .Every year the always do some amazing gift set's that make you want to pamper yourself every once in while. This year that have some amazing gift sets both in their bath and body and makeup ranges. So I've picked my favourite one for each but I would really recommend looking at the boots website for the full range. This retails for £8.00 so would be great for a stocking filler or secret santa. For their body set's they do a lot of sets that are specific to one scent which is nice if you know someone who likes a specific scent. However if you'

Really good online shopping sites

Image
As it's only a little over two weeks till the big day the last day of ordering is vast approaching. It's sometime quite overwhelming to know where to shop online as there are so many places that you could shop. So following on from that here's a run of my top 5 beauty sites when shopping online. www.cultbeauty.co.uk I really love shopping on this site especially this time of year as they have some unique brand that you find easily any where else. If you buying for someone who likes more higher end beauty then this site is perfect as it's stocks the likes of Sunday Riley, Jouer and Becca.  www.feelunique.co.uk Feel unique is somewhere where I love to shop as it's like the online version of a highstreet shop.  However they do have an amazing brand selection from the likes of Zoella beauty and Rimmel all the way up to Gurlain and Giorgio Armani. www.marksandspencer.com I know this may be an unusual one, however the M&S beauty sect

Blogmas day 6 Gift Ideas for him

Image
I don't know about you but shopping for a man can't be quite hard to do. The people I find really hard to buy is my brother and my best friend. Which is really odd because they are two people that I pretty much know inside out. So I've have devised a list of some ideas that can make it that little bit easier to find the perfect gift  for the men in your life. To start of because of the people that I know in my life I immediately thought of toys as I bought a remote control helicopter for my best friend last year and he absolutely loves it. So I saw in Debenhams the other day that they have a range of remote controls super cars.My personal favourite is the Ferrari Silverlit 1:16 LA. This has batteries included which is really good because you don't need to hunt round on Christmas day.  I find that men don't actually buy pyjamas as much as women do and if you're going to buy pyjamas for a man then get them Star Wars which are super cool. This is a trouser

Blogmas day 5 My reflection of the year

Image
I feel like as it's nearly the end of the year it's really important to reflect on the previous and your journey through the year. 2016 has definitely been the year of change I feel that this year I've learnt so much about who I am and the people around. This year for me has had it's incredible up's and disappointing low's. I realise who are my friends and the people who going to be there for me when I need the most. I feel that as I got a little bit older I realise that sometime quality definitely override quantity. It's so important to surround yourself with people who love you for who you are and not try and change for someone they want you to be. If you've been reading my blog this year or actually know me in real life then you'll know that I've had quite a hard time dealing with my epilepsy. It was so scary and so hard to deal with but I found that it was the people around that got me through it and I'm forever thankful to all them b

Blogmas day 4 New launches for 2017!!

Image
I can't believe we're now talking about new launches for 2017!! This year has just flown by. So starting with Marc Jacobs, that have a new spring that will be launching in January 2017 and is exclusive to John Lewis and harrods. They are launching 3 new product's to there make-up collection. The 1st one is the Le Marc liquid creme which they will be releasing in at least shades. A Matte Gel eye crayon eyeliner and the O! mega volumizing mascara in the shade Peacock. Moving onto MAC they have a new collection called the Artist's collection which is designed by Kabuki, James Kaliardos and Diane Kendal. These are all make-up artist's and this is the first time that MAC have collaborated with make-up artist's for a collection. This will be launching on the 2nd January in stores and online. Chanel have also released what's in t

Blogmas day 3 November Favourites

Image
I can't believe it's nearly the end of the year and will be 2017! this year has gone so quick and this will be my last favourites of year and at the end of december I will be doing my round of the year. Starting of with make-up as I've been going out and seeing a lot my friends this month as it's getting closer to Christmas I have gone back to a lot of my favourites as I know they work and will last. For base I've pretty much been wearing the Clinqie super balanced make-up which is such a nice natural easy foundation to wear. This is something that you can blend out to get more of a natural look or you can build to get more of a medium coverage finish. I have it in the shade fair 02 which is perfect for my skin tone. This is £23.00 which is more expensive than high street foundations but I feel that this is higher quality that less expensive foundations. On top of the foundation I've been wearing the H&M perfectionist finishing powder. If you have d

Blogmas day 2 November Empties

Image
It's day two of blogmas and my empties basket's has really filled up so I've decided that I need to do a run down of rubbish. I have two deodorants one of them I have finished and one of them I just can't stand the scent so I've decided to throw it out. The one that I've finished is the nivea black& white invisible roll on deodorant. The other I really don't like is the Sure fresh roll on deodorant which just smells awful so I really can't wear it anymore.  I featured thus in my favourites last month and said that I've actually used it up so here it is in my empties. This is Percy& Reed wonder balm, this is to be used before you blow dry your hair. This just made my hair feel amazing and shiny. This was only 30ml so didn't take me to use it up. I have only one body lotion this month which feels entirely inappropriate for this time of year but I absolutely love the scent and reminds of a drink that I used to have
