body shop lip butter

Image
body shop lip butter  As the colder weather starts to hit there are a couple of essentials that I need at all times. One of them being something for my lips wheather it be a lip balm or a lip butter. I know that vaseline is meant to be very good for you lips but I find it so hard to open the tins that it just does not seem worth it. That's why I have now come across the body shop lip butter. I absolutely love this product, it's small enough to fit in your handbag or even your pocket and they come in a variety of flavours. I will list these below and give you a minnie review of the ones that I have tried.  Chocomania- choclate flavour  blueberry  Strawberry- I have tried this one, this is actually the first one I tried and fell in love with it. It smells a lot  like the strawberry laces sweets which I absolutely love. Unfornately I am able to show you the product as I have used it up and have not yet purchase a new one, but it looks like the ones below but it is

rimmel match perfection foundation

Image
Rimmel match perfection foundation I find it very hard to find the right foundation for my skin. This is because I have very light skin and even the lightest shade in some drugstore/highstreet brands is still to dark. However I have found a foundation that is the right shade, has good coverage and lasts all day. It's from rimmel and I absolutely love it. I apply it using the real techniques expert face brush which is a small round face brush, so it is perfect to get to all the nooks and crannies of your face so that complete coverage is achieved. This product retails for £6.99 which for a high street foundation is quite reasonable. I would recommend this product to anyone who is light skin and is looking for a foundation that has full coverage. The shade I use is light porcelain but this foundation have many different shades to suit all different skin types.

spectacle lenses wipes

Image
spectacle lenses wipes  If you have glasses then you will know the frustration of trying to keep them clean. I have found a way of achieving this. They are spectacle lenses wipes and they come in individual packets so you can just slip them in your pockets or handbag. They can also be use on camera lenses, mirrors and mobile phones screens. This is really handy because they come in small packets so you can have a few in your bag and you them on a multiple of devices. They are also quick drying which means that you phone or glasses will not  have anything left on it that could effect your vision. I would recommend these to anyone who has difficulty cleaning there lenses or needs something quick on the go.    They retail at £4.64 on amazon

Soap and Glory hand cream

Image
soap and glory hand cream As the nights start to draw in and the cold weather starts to hit there are a few essentials that I cant live without. one of them being hand cream. One of the worst thing I feel is to have dry hand because they just feel hard and start to flake away.  one of my favourites right now is the Soap and Glory Hand Dream number 1 formula Super Cream. The scent is quite sweet so it could not be to everyone taste. But if you are into the soap and glory products then I would definitely give this one a go.  The product retails for £7.00 which can be quite expensive for a hand cream but the product is 100ml so it is bigger than some hand creams. It does claim to be a 24hr cream but I don't believe that it is. However it does last a good couple of hours even in COLD weather, so it can be beneficial this time of year.   you can buy it here http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SolrSearchLister?storeId=10052&langId=-1&catalogId=

ted baker W pefume gift set As the nights start to draw in and the weather is certainly getting colder our minds might start to thinking about christmas planning as I don't know about you but I don't like to do everything the week before christmas. With that thought in mind I thought that I would some gift ideas for your loved ones. But where do you start? well I was in the perfume shop the other and I found these lovely ted baker gift sets. body oil

Image
dove body oil Dove body oil is a alternative to moisturiser. I have been using this for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love it. It's so easy to apply and soaks into the skin almost immediately. I've tried the pistachio cream and magnolia scent but I know there are others so when I've finished this one I will definitely go out and purchase those SO WATCH THIS SPACE.  The thing I've found amazing about this product is a little goes a long long way. I thought that this product wasn't going to last me that long. This is because it's an oil instead of a lotion but I couldn't be more wrong. The really stretches on your skin so when applying this for the first time just use a little bit and top up when necessary. The product retails for £8.99 which can be for some people quite expensive as you can pick up a tub of moisturiser for £5.00. But like I said you are getting your money worth because it's lasts and lasts.  The body oil is also on 3

neutrogena visibly clear moisturiser

Image
Neutrogena visibly clear moisturiser I just wanted to quick post about the moisturiser that I have been using at the moment which is the Neutrogena visible clear moisturiser and it's scent is pink grapefruit which smells amazing. The actual product work really well on your skin I was using after using my simple facial wash and it just felt very light on the skin and soaks in really easily. It's meant to hydrate and refresh the skin but I felt that it wasn't a very heavy moisturiser and it didn't leave your skin feeling sticky which I felt that some moisturiser's can. It costs £4.99 which I think isn't that expensive as it lasted me about a month. I felt that it's that good that I have already purchase another bottle so I can use it after I have finished my simple one I'm using at the moment. If you're looking for something that is not to heavy on the skin and something that can be use everyday then I would definitely recommend this.

Dry Shampoo

Image
dry shampoo's In the last few weeks I have been doing a comparision between two different types of dry shampoo. One of them is the Bastiste dry shampoo clean and classic original which is probably one of the most well known brand for this product.  The other is a brand that I had found in Tesco and it's called Girlz Only haircare dry shampoo. Now I know by just from the name that some of you will be thinking it's not a very good product and it's target audience is probably for young teenagers, but how will I know if Bastiste is the best dry shampoo if there is nothing to compare it to.  Since using them both on different days I feel that there are positive and negative things to each product. I feel that Basiste does a better job at reviving your hair and making it looking fresher. However I don't really like the smell of it. It's smells very powdery which I know that that's what it meant to do but I f
