The battle of products and brands- removing makeup

micellar water vs makeup wipes

So there is so much speculation in the beauty world about what is the correct way to remove makeup to ensure that you skin is clear of makeup and dirt. For years I have been using makeup wipes and they seem to work. However since my knowledge of the beauty has grown and after watching countless videos from beauty guru's makeup work don't actually work as well as you think. They should actually only use in emergencies instead of your daily skincare routine.

You can pick these up from boots, superdrug and supermarkets for around £1-£2 depending on whether they are on offer.

These are generally the ones however I have also used the nivea small pack for travelling. These are the simple kind to skin facial cleansing wipes. I love these because they stay moist and do actually remove your makeup without using half the pack.

My next is the product that acutally do use to remove my makeup. It's the Garnier Micellar cleansing water. I use this with a big cotton pad because I feel that the small ones works but you need to use a lot of them to remove of your makeup therefore it's more cost effective to use the larger ones.

you can also pick these up from boots/superdrug and superdrug for £3-£4

Overall I prefer the cleansing water rather than the wipes because it's more cost effective and I know that all the makeup and dirt that is on my face is gone.
