My Real Techniques Brushes Collection

My Real Techniques Brushes Collection

Make-up brushes are quite hard to find if you're on a budget. However Real Techniques are a brand created by Top Make-up aritists Sam and Nic Chapman. They are both known for running the youtube channel Pixiwoo and also doing the make-up of top celebrities and royalty.

So my Brush the collection is the one I used probably the most and it's the expert face brush. I really love this brush as it's not like a regular flat foundation so you can really buff into your foundation to your skin to make it look more flawless and natural. I also I use this for concealer if I'm not wearing foundation as it make my skin look so flawless. By the way all the Brushes I mention you can pick up from Boots, Superdrug and Feel unique.com.

If I want to use a lighter foundation then I will use the foundation brush. This kind of brush most people would've come across as it's the standard foundation brush shape. Generally I won't use this for heavier foundation as it doesn't buff it in enough.

My Next one is the Blush Brush, I also used this for contouring as well if I'm in a hurry because it just blends the colour into your skin really and is also great for blush and highlight. Just make sure that you brush off any excess before going in with another colour as it could messy.

For powder I like to use the powder brush as it so soft and doesn't distribute to much product on your face so you don't look too cakey.

If I want a more natural look and only a little bit of powder on my face then I will use the duo-fibre face brush. This I use generally when I only want to put powder on my T-zone as it's smaller so you can have a bit more control over it.

when I do use a different brush for contouring I like to use the duo- fibre contour brush. This helps your contour lines look natural and not too over the top. Also because the brush is quite flexible it means that you are not picking up too much product on the brush.

If I'm having one of them days when I don't want to wear to much makeup and only put concealer wear I need it. I will generally either use the expert face brush or the concealer brush I am a bit on the fence about this brush as it does do the job but I find that because the brush is flat it almost just flicks the product around without actually blending it in.

For eyes I love using the eye brushes collection.

So from left to right, the first one is accent brush. I like using this one for smudging eye-shadow under the eye as it quite short so you really can get a nice neat line.

The next one is the deluxe crease brush which I generally for blending eyeshadow's together. However sometimes if I'm in a hurry then I will use this just to put a wash of colour on the lid.

In the middle is the base shadow brush, which I completely agree with the name. This is great for just putting a base colour on lid as the name would suggest. I also use this to blend shadow in the crease.

The next one is the set is the brow brush, which I actually don't used because I actually don't do to much to brow's as I have quite dark brows and don't want to make them to bold.

Finally the last one is the fine liner brush and this I don't generally use as much as the other. This is because I'm not good at doing liquid liner.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FAVOURITE BRUSHES ARE!!
