make-up starter kit everything under £10
After doing a brainstorm sessions this morning to come up with new blog idea I realised that I haven't done a post about where start with make-up. It wasn't that long a go that I only has the basics and 5 million mascara's so I thought I would strip back and give you my recommendations for where to start.
Starting with base I don't think it necessary that you need a full coverage foundation when you're first starting out. Something like a lighter coverage foundation or even a concealer will do the job. So I have two that I first started with and they are both from Rimmel. The first one is the match perfection which is the first foundation that I bought. This foundation gives a light to medium coverage so it's not going to cover everything so you're not going to go from nothing to a full face of make-up. This is £7.99 which is pretty cheap for foundation. The other one is the rimmel wake me up which gives more of a glowy finish this also has vitamin c and SPF 15 which is good to protect your skin. This one is £8.99 so yes it's a pound more but still very affordable.
For concealer I would recommend the collection lasting perfection which if you've any beauty videos or read any blog (even my blog) then you'll know that we all go on and on about it because it's amazing!!

The product retails for £4.19 which is so affordable.
For powder I would recommend two, either the rimmel stay matte or the maybeline matte maker. You may not need powder but I use them to set my make-up as I not have oily skin. They are both £3.99 and last for ages.
For cheeks I would really recommend the revolution ultra blush palette's. This brand is so affordable but they have really high quality products. My favourite palette is in golden sugar and this you can contour, bronze, blush and highlight all in one palette. This is £6.00 for 8 colours which is amazing value.
My mascara recommendation is my favourite mascara of all time and it's the maybelline lash sensational. This is amazing at giving you lift and length. This is £7.99 which is on higher end of the price spectrum but totally worth it.
Within the highstreet/drugstore setting they are so many eyeshadow palettes to chose from that it can get a little bit over whelming. I would recommend the collection uncovered palette's .These are quite a good dupe for urban decay naked basics palette, however it's a fraction of the price. These come in quite a few colour's but I would recommend the nude palette. This has six shades going from skin tone colour to a very dark brown. These are only £3.99 and the shadows are amazing I use this over the naked basics quite a lot of the time as I have both.
There is another palette that I would recommend as I couldn't choose just one. My other one is I heart make-up death by chocolate and if you've been reading my blog for a while then you'll know that I received this for my birthday and used it so much earlier in the year. There are two things that I love about this palette, one this pigmentation of the palette is amazing and two the palette actually smells of chocolate. This palette is £7.99 for 15 shadows which is amazing.
Lastly lips now there are so many product's that are affordable that could choose from. I would recommend starting from a very natural lip so it doesn't look too much.
I have one gloss and one matte balm. My gloss is the l'oreal infallible mega gloss and I have the shade protest which is a very pale pink shade and it's almost clear so it's not to much. This is £6.99 which isn't the cheapest of all the drugstore but worth it. My matte option is the collection matte lip butter which is very similar to the revlon matte lip butter and I have actually done a comparison between the two. Check it out here http://livinglifewithbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/battle-of-brands-products-matte-lip.html
This matte lip butter is £2.99 which is so affordable.
THE TOTAL IF YOU BOUGHT ALL OF THIS TOGETHER WOULD BE £56.11 HOWEVER YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN THE PRODUCT'S.
SO THAT'S IT, THAT'S EVERYTHING THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND IF YOU'RE JUST STARTING OUT WITH MAKE-UP AND DON'T WANT TO MUCH SPEND TO MUCH.
