new look/ H&M make-up look

I have been wanting to do this post for ages and just kept putting it off. I really like both the lines of make-up but what I found that the new look make-up didn't really have any blushes so that's why I decided to mix the two so I could do a full face.

Starting with base I used the pure colour liquid foundation in the shade porcelain which is a good match for me. I really like this foundation as it feels quite light but still has a good amount of coverage so it's perfect for everyday but also can be built up. I didn't have a concealer or powder as I haven't picked them up yet but they are meant to be really good. 



For blusher I used the H&M blush in the shade pale pink which is a very natural. The thing that I like also is that it's not to pigmented so you don't end up looking like a clown (which is never a good look). 




Moving onto eyes I do have eyeshadow from the new look range but decided to use one of the colour essence from the H&M range in shade gentlewoman which is a purple/ brown shade with shimmer running through it. For mascara I used the pure volume volumising mascara which gives me amazing volume and keeps a curl as well. 









Finally for lips I used the new look pure colour lipstick in sweet rose. This is a very me shade with it being a very neutral. However this is quite different to some of the other lipsticks in my collection because it has a lot more purple than I would normally go for.

top 5 nude lips

Top 5 nude/ neutral lips  My first one is probably the most expensive of my five and it's the Clarins instant lip perfector. This product is kind of light a natural gloss which a slight colour. The scent of this product is just amazing it smells like vanilla and I just love it!! Like I said before it's the most expensive one at £18.00. My next one is from maybelline and if you saw my post earlier in the week then you may have already seen this but this is probably the most bold colour of the five but still very wearable. This is the maybelline colour sensational in petal pink. I really like this colour because it's not quite matte but it so nearly is. My third one is from rimmel and it's called nude pink. Shade name wise I think that this is quite disappointing as a nude pink I think of being a your lips but better, however this lipstick has quite a orangery undertone. blogmas day 6! soap and glory gift set

Soap and glory mini gift set's Every year soap and glory come out with some amazing christmas that you definitely get your money's worth. This is actually last year bag but I have put in the bag the product's that You get in the set for this year. I personally love these set's because they are so easy to travel with and because they are so small you can take everything you need with you. The set this year is called bright and bubbly and it comes in a box, which personally I prefer the bag as you can also used for travelling. The set retails for £10 which I think is amazing value as you get 4 products and a shower flower thing (what are they called?).
