Different Applications for product's
I've found that I been using different brushes for different product's so that they have the best result's.
So starting off with base if I'm using quite a heavy foundation or really want to buff my foundation then I will use the sigma 3d HD kabuki brush which I picked up a few month's a go and having been loving. I just find that because it's quite dense and has some to dimension
to the actual brush, that it's makes you foundation look so flawless but at the same time quite natural.
If I'm using something that has a lighter coverage then I will use the real techniques expert face brush I used to use this for everything but since getting the sigma brush I found that this works better for lighter coverage foundations.
I won't use this everyday or even every week but if I'm going to an event and want my foundation to look flawless then I will use a complexion sponge. I can't tell you where this is from but I received this from a glossy box and really like it. There are so many versions of the product but the original one is the beauty blender which I haven't actually tried but it's meant to be the best of the best.
Generally I won't use flat top foundation brushes but since I received this one for christmas I have been loving it. This is the vintage cosmetic's company foundation brush, this brush is so soft and so easy to blend foundation into the skin. I find that this kind of brushes are quite stiff so you're almost flicking the foundation around instead of blending it.
Finally my last way is using your hands and generally I won't do this as I just find this so messy. However it does gives a good results as the warmth of your hands help blend the foundation into the skin. I will also use my fingers to blend in concealer as I find it gives the best results.
Moving onto cheeks I have a couple that I will generally use this everyday as I just love them so much. All of these brushes are from real techniques which are definitely my brush company as they are so affordable and so easy to get hold of. The first brush I love is the blush brush which I generally use everyday as it's just so easy to blend the product into the skin. The thing that I also love about this brush is that there is a point at the top so if you want more of a precision application then this can be achieved.
The other one is from the real techniques duo fibre collection. This is the contour brush which I absolutely love this is a lot small so easier to have more control. This is also really good for contour (as you can guess) as you can really get into your cheek bones to add depth.
I also like to use the Lottie London blush brush. These are so soft having cute coloured handles and are available from superdrug.
Moving onto powder I have two brushes that are very different. The first one is quite dense so will pick up a lot of product and this is the real techniques powder brush. This is quite a large brush which I know my not be everyone's cup of tea but I really like this is I want my foundation to last. I generally won't use this everyday as I don't use every day but when I need it it's really good. The other one is the duo fibre face brush which gives more of a softer look.
Finally for the eyes I do have quite a lot of brushes and generally I will used most of them on a day to day basis. So starting with laying a down base shadow, for this I will use either the real techniques base shadow brush or the real techniques bold metal collection in 200. Both of these are very similar and I have done a comparison of these so go check that out if you want to know more.
For blending in eyeshadow into the crease or applying a highlight to under the brow bone. I like to use the deluxe crease brush which is a quite a large round top brush so great for blending.
If I'm applying shadow under my eye as liner then I have two that make it easy. The 1st is the accent brush which is quite small bush has a rounded top so great so getting a precise line. I have two of these brushes so the other one I like to use on my lips if I'm applying more of a bolder colour. If I want a finer line under my eyes or a colour along my top lash line then I will use the fine liner brush, which is meant to be used for liquid liner but I'm not very good at this.
