My top 3 foundations

Image
As I was looking through some of my old blog posts I realised that my favourite foundations have all changed.  So I thought that I would start with my favourite low coverage all the way through to my favourite high coverage foundation.  My foundation for low coverage/ everyday wear is the Bourjois CC cream this is amazing for everyday quick makeup routine. This does give a glowey look which I personally love as I have normal/ dry skin so this is perfect for me. It's also very affordable at £9.99. I know Bourjois is not available everywhere but if you do have assess to the brand then I would really recommend this.  My next is probably my favourite out of the 3 and this is the Clinique super balanced foundation. I know I talk about this foundation all the time but I just love it. If you have normal skin that's not super oily or dry then I would really recommend this as it just gives you such a natural coverage and just smoothes over any imperfections. T...

January favourites

This month seemed to have flown by, although there are lots of product's this month that I have been loving. First up is a perfume that my best friend bought me for Christmas and it's the Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume. This isn't going to be for everyone as it's very sweet but I however absolutely love it. It also last's really which I find to be a struggle when wearing some perfumes is that they can smell amazing at the start of the day but by lunchtime the scent has just disappeared. Would definitely recommend it's a little more pricey than some perfumes but absolutely worth it. Something that I've used pretty much everyday as I'm going to try and use it up this year is the Maybelline colour tattoo in Creamy Beige. This something that I'm going to try as use up this as I've had it for a while now and don't want it to dry out. So I've either been using this as a base or if I'm in a hurry then I will just use a fluffy brush ...

January Empties

Image
At the start of this year I made an inventory of all the beauty I currently have in my collection and how much they retail for. This was so that I can save some money and use up the things that I already have in my collection instead of always buying new stuff. So every month I will be empties post's but I will also be adding a total of the cost of them items that I have used up. Ted baker body lotion this was OK it did the job but it wasn't anything special. This came in a gift set with the EDT which retails for £9.99 Sure anti- perspirant, this did the job and smelled nice but that  was about it. I may repurchase this if it was on offer. This was £3.29 The other deodorant I've used up if the stress protect from Nivea. This again was alright this this is I'm not really fussy with deodorant so I'll generally pick up what's on offer. This was £1.75. I've used up a couple of bath product's as I had quite a few mini'...

2016 favourites- base

So I'm back after what feels like forever. I'm very sorry that I didn't finish Blogmas, I was so busy during December that I just have time to write and upload everyday! I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year and are getting back to normal after having a break. Starting of with base the primer that I've loved this year the Benefit Professional. This is only the sample size but I really enjoyed how it smooth over everything and definitely helps to keep my foundation on for longer.  For Foundation I have used the Clinique superbalanced make-up pretty much all year. If you've read my blog before then you'll know that I do struggle to find my correct shade as I'm quite fair skin. However this just feels like second skin but still gives good coverage and last's all day.   For concealer I have two. The one that I've loved for making me look more awake than I actually am is the L'oreal Lumi Magique highlight...

Blogmas Day 9 The Christmas Tag

Image
I've heard about these type of tag's for years and I've never actually done one of these before so I thought that I would give it a go and let me know what you think. So I've got 10 questions all about my favourite things to do at Christmas. What's your Favourite Christmas Movie? I know this may not be the most obvious choice but Scrooged with Bill Murray is one of my favourite  films ever. I did actually first watched back in November but I really love this film and definitely get's me in the mood for the festive season.  Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? Christmas Morning as I child I used to do a Christmas party with some of my closest friends. Which we actually did to we were nearly adults, playing pass the parcel and watching cheesy Christmas films. However now that I'm 22 and meant to be a grown up I tend to sit down with my family on christmas morning to open presents listening to Christmas mus...

Blogmas day 10 10 gifts under £20

Image
Last month I did a post about luxury gift that were over £50. That was really fun to do however not everyone can afford the really luxury gift prices that are on the market. So this is my second gift guide of three that are going to be gift's from £5 to £20 so I feel like this instalment will suit a lot more people's budget. Starting of with my favourite brands for more affordable gift's which is soap and glory .Every year the always do some amazing gift set's that make you want to pamper yourself every once in while. This year that have some amazing gift sets both in their bath and body and makeup ranges. So I've picked my favourite one for each but I would really recommend looking at the boots website for the full range. This retails for £8.00 so would be great for a stocking filler or secret santa. For their body set's they do a lot of sets that are specific to one scent which is nice if you know someone who likes a specific scent. However if you'...

Really good online shopping sites

Image
As it's only a little over two weeks till the big day the last day of ordering is vast approaching. It's sometime quite overwhelming to know where to shop online as there are so many places that you could shop. So following on from that here's a run of my top 5 beauty sites when shopping online. www.cultbeauty.co.uk I really love shopping on this site especially this time of year as they have some unique brand that you find easily any where else. If you buying for someone who likes more higher end beauty then this site is perfect as it's stocks the likes of Sunday Riley, Jouer and Becca.  www.feelunique.co.uk Feel unique is somewhere where I love to shop as it's like the online version of a highstreet shop.  However they do have an amazing brand selection from the likes of Zoella beauty and Rimmel all the way up to Gurlain and Giorgio Armani. www.marksandspencer.com I know this may be an unusual one, however the M&S beauty sect...
