Higher end foundation experience

For years I always thought that I  was always the lightest shade of foundation because I am so pale. However I actually decided to go to a counter to get a colour match to find that I was actually shade darker. As this was my first experience of dabbing into more higher end foundation I wanted to make sure that I had the right colour before spending £20+ on a foundation. However the girl serving me on my local counter was super helpful and tested three shades on my neck which is the best place to test before deciding which shade is best for me. She then gave a little sample pot so that I could try it outside of a department store which is so good and I would definetely to anyone who is debating about buying a higher- end foundation to get a sample pot and test it out in your own environment.

After testing it out for a week I decided to pick up a full bottle which was so easy as I already knew what shade I was. The foundation I was testing out is the Clinique Super Balanced make-up in the 02 fair which is £22 for 30ml. I have to say that this foundation has amazing staying power as I wore this all day yesterday shopping and I was trying on a quite a lot of dresses and it stayed pretty well. The only place the I noticed that I lost coverage was around my nose which is pretty normal.

I was totally recommend going to a counter and getting a foundation shade match as it may surprise you and it also may mean that your foundation does a lot more natural.

top 5 nude lips

Top 5 nude/ neutral lips  My first one is probably the most expensive of my five and it's the Clarins instant lip perfector. This product is kind of light a natural gloss which a slight colour. The scent of this product is just amazing it smells like vanilla and I just love it!! Like I said before it's the most expensive one at £18.00. My next one is from maybelline and if you saw my post earlier in the week then you may have already seen this but this is probably the most bold colour of the five but still very wearable. This is the maybelline colour sensational in petal pink. I really like this colour because it's not quite matte but it so nearly is. My third one is from rimmel and it's called nude pink. Shade name wise I think that this is quite disappointing as a nude pink I think of being a your lips but better, however this lipstick has quite a orangery undertone. This is actually last year bag but I have put in the bag the product's that You get in the set for this year. I personally love these set's because they are so easy to travel with and because they are so small you can take everything you need with you. The set this year is called bright and bubbly and it comes in a box, which personally I prefer the bag as you can also used for travelling.
