Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye make-up remover

Whilst in boots the other day I spotted this make-up remover from nivea. This interest me a lot as it seem to have a layer of oil that when you shake the product up it mixes together. Oil is effectively proven to remove make-up as a lot of make-up is oil based, so therefore oil breaks down oil. I wear waterproof mascara a lot of time as I find it lasts longer and doesn't transfer to under my eyes and make me look like a panda.


Another problem that I find is that if the product does remove my make-up it sometimes leaves my eyes very irritated and red. However this product is meant to be gentle enough and is meant to remove the make-up without rubbing. I've already tried this product and I've got to say that it is very effective. It looks very similar to the Clarins eye make-up remover but is a fraction of the price. I haven't actually tried the Clarins one but may purchase to see if the compare.

Over the past couple of months I feel that my body has let me down in many ways. It made me ill out of blue which meant I had to build myself up again which I wasn't planning to do. So for a while now I've been meaning to get on the blogging band wagon but have been unsure how to as it's been quite a while. So I was going to do a favourites to explain what I have been using these past few months, however instead I thought I would talk about something that has been apparent to a lot of people and has been issue with quite a few friends of mine as well. Over the past few years the online beauty community has grown and grown. This is partly because anyone can set up a blog as long as you've got some sort of camera and access to the internet then you set up a blog. However with this growth means there are more and more people talking or writing about things that they have enjoyed or not. An alternative to the tangleteezer....

I've heard so many people talk about how much they love the Tangleteezer. So being a blogger I knew I needed to try it out. After trying it I didn't really get on with it. I understand the shape of it, is meant to fit nicely into your hand and make it easy to brush you hair. However I just found it really hard to grip to actually brush my hair.  So following this if you saw my post on friday you will know that I opened the Look Fantastic box for this month. Within this was the wet brush and after using it for a couple of days I find it so much easier to use. I think because it's an actual hairbrush but at the same glides through wet hair getting out any knots.
