Yesterday I uploaded a post showing you what I will be using this month. So today I thought a would start of a series (I don't know how many there will be) of post's showing how I use this make-up to create different looks. 

Today I'm just at home so I wanted something quite basic and natural. I will writing a post later about the fit me collection so I wanted something that was easy to take off with a make-up wipe. 

Starting of with base I used the air mat foundation from Bourjois which I've been trying out for the last few months. 


I didn't actually apply any concealer as I didn't want to much on my face. However I did apply my master sculpt from maybelline to add some shape to my face. I used both the contour and highlight. 


That's all I applied as a base. So moving onto eyes I used the I heart make-up death by chocolate palette. Within this palette I used the light brown shade on the far left all over the lid. I then used the champagne shade on the top row next to the highlight shade on the centre on my lid. I finally used the top highlight under the brow bone. 


For mascara I applied a couple of coats of the roller lash mascara from benefit. I added this yesterday after the post as this is now one of my favourite mascaras of all time. 


Finally for lips I decided to use the maybelline colour elixir in rose refined as I this just a very sheer colour on the lips and I didn't want anything to heavy as I'm just at home today.

The Evolution of my beauty habits

So for a while now I've been meaning to get on the blogging band wagon but have been unsure how to as it's been quite a while. So I was going to do a favourites to explain what I have been using these past few months, however instead I thought I would talk about something that has been apparent to a lot of people and has been issue with quite a few friends of mine as well. Over the past few years the online beauty community has grown and grown. This is partly because anyone can set up a blog as long as you've got some sort of camera and access to the internet then you set up a blog. However with this growth means there are more and more people talking or writing about things that they have enjoyed or not. Depending on how many followers that person has can depend on how far that information travelled. An alternative to the tangleteezer....

I've heard so many people talk about how much they love the Tangleteezer. So being a blogger I knew I needed to try it out. After trying it I didn't really get on with it. I understand the shape of it, is meant to fit nicely into your hand and make it easy to brush you hair. However I just found it really hard to grip to actually brush my hair.  So following this if you saw my post on friday you will know that I opened the Look Fantastic box for this month. Within this was the wet brush and after using it for a couple of days I find it so much easier to use. I think because it's an actual hairbrush but at the same glides through wet hair getting out any knots.
