My top pick's for easy basic make-up look for the new year


So it's the new year and normally we think of a fresh start. I did a post the other day showing my top tips for having clearer skin. One of the tip's I wrote was to wear less make-up because it helps your skin to breathe. 



I find that I don't always want to wear foundation so concealer is a great alternative. This is the classic the one that I always talk about and it's the collection lasting perfecting concealer. 


For a little bit of colour on the lid I just use the colour tattoo in on and on bronze this is a just a really easy colour to apply and wear. 



And lastly for the face I like to keep it pretty basic so I use the freedom pro highlight in ambient which just gives me a nice glow. Also I use quite a natural blush at the moment I'm loving this H&M blushes this one is in the shade pale pink.

Over the past couple of months I feel that my body has let me down in many ways. It made me ill out of blue which meant I had to build myself up again which I wasn't planning to do. So for a while now I've been meaning to get on the blogging band wagon but have been unsure how to as it's been quite a while. So I was going to do a favourites to explain what I have been using these past few months, however instead I thought I would talk about something that has been apparent to a lot of people and has been issue with quite a few friends of mine as well. Over the past few years the online beauty community has grown and grown. This is partly because anyone can set up a blog as long as you've got some sort of camera and access to the internet then you set up a blog. An alternative to the tangleteezer....

I've heard so many people talk about how much they love the Tangleteezer. So being a blogger I knew I needed to try it out. After trying it I didn't really get on with it. I understand the shape of it, is meant to fit nicely into your hand and make it easy to brush you hair. However I just found it really hard to grip to actually brush my hair.  So following this if you saw my post on friday you will know that I opened the Look Fantastic box for this month. Within this was the wet brush and after using it for a couple of days I find it so much easier to use. I think because it's an actual hairbrush but at the same glides through wet hair getting out any knots.
