So a couple of months ago I wrote a post about deciding which naked pallete I should buy and after much consideration I went for the naked 2 pallete which I am in love with. 


The actual packaging is really sustainable, it's in a tin case which has a good opening and closing. Inside their is 12 shades of eyeshadow ranging from very light to black. Their is also a mix of shimmers and matte's which is lovely because you can do a very basic look or a smoky shimmery look as well. 

From left to right the colour names are foxy, half-baked, bootycall, chopper, tease, snakebite, suspect, pistol, verve, YDK, busted and blackout. 

So far I have used chopper, tease, YDK and snakebite. I love them all so far and they are so pigmented.

Always remember where we came from

Over the past couple of months I feel that my body has let me down in many ways. It made me ill out of blue which meant I had to build myself up again which I wasn't planning to do. However after doing this I've know realised what's important, after having this blog for nearly 6 years and posting about beauty and my story it's important to remember why I do what I do. I was at a family event yesterday, and after speaking to one of my relatives who actually reads this blog, I suddenly realised that I've kind of lost touch with why I do, what I do. My story is unique and I am very lucky to have a physical condition but still be able to do what I love. That's partly why I set this up in the first place, is to show that even through you have something that could potentially hold you back that doesn't mean that it should. An alternative to the tangleteezer....

I've heard so many people talk about how much they love the Tangleteezer. So being a blogger I knew I needed to try it out. After trying it I didn't really get on with it. I understand the shape of it, is meant to fit nicely into your hand and make it easy to brush you hair. However I just found it really hard to grip to actually brush my hair.  So following this if you saw my post on friday you will know that I opened the Look Fantastic box for this month. Within this was the wet brush and after using it for a couple of days I find it so much easier to use. I think because it's an actual hairbrush but at the same glides through wet hair getting out any knots.
