clearing out your makeup

clearing out your makeup So it's the time of year when we start to clear out our houses/flats / rooms and I am no exception today I have been trying to clearing out my beauty area because let's face it I have way to much stuff that I am not using and could do with a better home. So that's what I have done and I have done it in a few simple steps.  Step 1 is to get everything out so you can what you have and what you're working with.  Step 2 is to sort out your makeup and beauty products into two piles what you're going to keep and what you're going to throw away. Make sure to check the expiration dates on all products as everything goes off eventually.  Step 3 is to wipe everything down so wherever you store you're makeup you want to go in with some antibacterial spray or wipes and make sure that everything is clean before you start putting things back.   Step 4 is to organise where everything is going so I have clear plastic boxes for my mak...

Zoella beauty Let's Sprintz Body spray

Image
Zoella beauty Let's Sprintz body spray Recently I have been shopping in superdrug and came across this product, which is the Zoella lets sprintz Eau de toilette. Zoella launch her original rage in september of last year which has sold amazingly well. She has now release a new beauty range alongside the original range.  The range scent has quite a summery, fruity scent which is quite fresh and new. She has release this range all around the tutti fruity sweets. Which also emphasises around the packaging as well because it's very colourful and stands out from other products. The body spray is £8.00 which is the same price as the original one and you can also get a range of different products with the same sort of packaging. However the whole range is very affordable for every product.  I would really, really recommend these products as the are very summery and fresh like I have already said. I know that sometimes some people can be very unsure about these kind of p...

urban decay naked 2

urban decay naked 2 So a couple of months ago I wrote a post about deciding which naked pallete I should buy and after much consideration I went for the naked 2 pallete which I am in love with.  The actual packaging is really sustainable, it's in a tin case which has a good opening and closing. Inside their is 12 shades of eyeshadow ranging from very light to black. Their is also a mix of shimmers and matte's which is lovely because you can do a very basic look or a smoky shimmery look as well.  From left to right the colour names are foxy, half-baked, bootycall, chopper, tease, snakebite, suspect, pistol, verve, YDK, busted and blackout.  So far I have used chopper, tease, YDK and snakebite. I love them all so far and they are so pigmented.

Who I am!

WHO I AM I feel like the time has come for me to tell you just exactly who I am. My name is Lily and I love makeup for one reason and one reason only. I have a disability you can't always see it and in pictures I may look normal but in real life I can look completely different. For years I have tried to shy away from the camera and I used to hate take pictures of myself because of the way I looked. However behind all that I am still me a 21 year old who just loves makeup because I can use makeup as a shield to hide who I really am and show the more confident side of me. I started this blog just over six months ago and I was afraid of showing the world who I really but you know what behind the foundation and the mascara I'm like everybody else I still have the same dreams and goals. I am who I am and no one can change and you know what I don't want them to. I have cerebral palsy which means my limbs don't work probably and I may talk funny but you know what I re...

Rimmel Stay matte powder

Image
Rimmel Stay matte powder  I feel that this time of year it's really important to have a good powder. I have seen the Rimmel Stay Matte powder in so many videos and blogs. The thing  that I love about this powder is that it's not cakey and really looks good and flawless on your skin. The shade I have is 003 in peach glow which is a really good match for me as I'm really really pale. The product retails for £3.99 from boots and superdrug which is a good price for  every price budget. To be honest even through I do have a few high end products I feel that because I don't have oily skin I can buy drugstore powder instead of high end.
