Using up 11 before christmas- project pan

Image
After watching quite a few of the project pan videos I've decided to pick 11 items from my collection to try and see if I can use as much as I can before christmas. Starting of with primer I've the benefit porefessional as this is  only a 7.5ml tube so shouldn't take me long to finish.  I have two concealer's and this is because I will use the revlon colour stay concealer under my eyes as it fairly pale and good for covering up them bags!! The one that I've chosen for the rest of my face is maybelline fit me concealer which is starting to show cracks so hopefully I am going to use this up.  This product I only bought this year but because I use it everyday I really hope that I can at least hit pan by christmas.  This is max factor creme puff blush in the shade lavish mauve. This definetely has a dent in it so I hoping that I can at least flattering it out at bit before this ends.  After looking through my lipsticks ...

Fresh Autumn make-up

Image
I feel that as the weather draws in and gets colder it's time for my make-up to change. I generally find that if you start of with a good base then your make-up will generally lasts longer. Using a good moisturiser and then let it sink in will get your the moisture it needs. In the morning I use the Simple SPF 15 protecting light moisturiser with UVA./UVB. I think that sometimes we forget that even in winter it's really important to protect your skin from the environment. It also creates a great base for make-up. I also After I apply that I find that primer's are essential in the colder month's as I feel it helps to keep m,y base on. The one I like to use is rimmel fix& perfect primer this has 5 benefits which are it smoothes, resurfaces, brightens, mattifies and protect. I don't think it has any SPF in it but I don't think that matters as my moisturiser has the right protection in it. After that I apply my foundation now I am quite sceptical abou...

5 Things that I've discovered this month

Image
Since sorting out all my product's I have switch a few things round as I feel that I'm always in a rut with the product's that I use. So I have picked out 5 things that I want to use more over the next coming weeks. I have two skincare products and three make-up product's. So starting of with the skincare product's I received the Liquid Yoga from Mia which is restorative bath soak. This has quite a strong scent but would be really good if you have congestion or a cold as I feels that it really clears you airwaves and makes you totally relaxed. The full size of this is fairly expensive at £26.00 and you can get it from  www.lookfantastic.com The other skincare product is a hand cream. I feel like at this time of year hand cream are so essential and I basically have one in every bag I used. The one I'm using is the soap&glory hand dream super cream. This has the original scent but it's still not too strong or offensive. You can get soap&...

Dressing table tour

Image
Recently I purchased a new dressing to hold all my makeup and my everyday skincare bits. The thing that I've never had is somewhere I can sit and do my make-up everyday and choose what I want to use from my whole collection instead of living from my make-up bag. This also means that I'm using the whole of my collection instead of just the things that I really love. So the dressing table that I've got is the Ransby from IKEA. I fell in love with dressing as even through it's not the prettiest of dressing table it's really functional and has everything in one place. So it has two shallow draws and two deeper draws. Underneath I have my hair tools and products on the left and on the right and have a metal vanity that I store some of my samples and travel size product's in.  In the first shallow drawer I have everything that I may need on a day to day basis. Such as my detangler and my skincare routine. I have also have a pack of make-up wipes and c...

Early Christmas Ideas

Image
I know it seems like so early to be even talking about christmas however we are now over half through october so before you know it that fat man will be coming down the chimmey. So I'll be running through my top 11 present ideas for over £20 and then nearer to november and throughout november I'll be doing something other price ranges to suit every budget. from adventuresofamum.com Starting of the top 10 with a gift from Benefit I feel like benefit gift sets are normally so bright and colourful that it would be wrong if they weren't mention. There seems to be a theme over the whole range of doll shape boxes there are four different styles of boxes and they range from £29.50 to £44.50 depending on the products within the box. This is a example of one of the sets which contains 4 full size products for £44.50 which is pretty is benefit is quite a high end brand.  My next one is from Laura Mercier and it's the set of 4 Layer up holiday caviar stick eye col...

My Current Favourites

Image
First of all I need to apologise for not uploading on here for quite a long time. Everything is getting very busy and I decided to take some time of during the summer off everything which was so beneficial but now I'm back. Today I will be going through my current favourites over the past couple of months. I haven't been buying as much as I have in previous months as I'm spending my money at the moment on furniture for the new room which I love. So here what's I've been loving out my collection. This has been ongoing favourite ever since I got this a couple of months ago. I know I have spoken about this before in a favourites but I feel like this month I've used it a lot as I feel it has such a good range of colours and great for going from daytime to night time make-up. The other palette that I have been loving is the Fleur de force eyeshadow quad in Lunar Rose which is great for this time of year as it has a purple tone however still very ne...

Winter skincare splurge vs save

Image
As the colder weather starts to draw in I've decided to look at my skincare as switch up a few thing that suit this time of year. The thing that I love this to is to use a lot of moisture masks this time of year as I feel that it just gives you that extra layer of nourishment. I have two that I use a lot and will generally apply them a couple of times a week in  quite a thick layer. The two are the Origins drink up mask which has a lovely scent and feels amazing. The only downer is that it is £23.00 for 100ml which is quite expensive as you do use quite a bit of it every use but I don't use it everyday so there are swings and roundabouts to it. The other one that I love is the superdrug version of this as this is the vitamin e moisture mask which is £2.59 for 75ml so yes you do get a little bit less but it's way cheaper if you can't afford the origins one. The next two product's I have compared before however I think it's such a good comparison that...

Shop my stash

Image
Now I know that I haven't been posting on here for a while and that's for many reasons. One I decided to have some time off over august from everything and that was so beneficial because I could totally relaxed and take some time out with my family. Also I am actually moving my bedroom soon so we are redecorating and trying to get everything done and the last reason is I work four days a week so that take priority over this. However now I'm now back and I'm kicking off with a shop my stash post.  Now because I've been sorting through my stuff I've realised that I have so many product's that I never used because I think I just stick to what I love and don't dive into the rest of my collection. So starting of with base I've got a concealer and a foundation. The concealer I have is the revlon colour stay in the shade 02 light pale and I think the reason I don't use this is because I'm so obsessed with my collection one that I just...
